Leave M8 on Junction 3 westbound to join Livingston road A899. Take second exit from Cousland interchange onto A705 signposted Blackburn, Whitburn. Follow the road to Mill Roundabout (approx. 1.5 miles) and take 2nd left. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights (signposted Whitburn / Bathgate) and travel for at most 0.25 miles until you reach the Toll Roundabout and take the last turning off into the S.E.H. plant.

Leave the M8 at Junction 3a (approximately 7 miles east of the Harthill Services). At the roundabout turn 1st left onto the A779. At the second roundabout turn 1st left again. At the Starlaw Roundabout turn left and travel for 1 mile to the Tailend Roundabout. Take the 2nd exit signposted Whitburn. At the Toll Roundabout turn left into the S.E.H. plant.
